I have a Category class and a CategoryChild class mapped to the same table. The CategoryChild just adds a parent property. For my pages, I would like to get only the instances of Category. How would I get this to work?

To answer my own question, the HQL would be:

from Category c wher c.class != CategoryChild[/code]
