why not recommend ms jdbc driver for sqlserver 2000 in hibernate2.1?
As we all know that hibernate is the simple encapsulation, if the driver is not recommended in hibernate, do you think that there are some problems when we use jdbc with that driver to visit the db?

Use jTDS. Or, ask yourself what incentive Microsoft has to produce a good JDBC driver.
