Hey,

I want to activate the log4j.proporties file in Hibernate. I checked the documentation but I don't know how to activate in by adding it to the classpath (like an environment variable or what?).

Besides that I'm working in Websphere so I'm wondering if it's possible to add the log4j.proporties to the JBuild Path or not? If yes how? - since it only accepts .jar & .zip files.

Hi,

if you create a jar/zip/war/sar containing the hibernate classes you want to deploy/use then just put the log4j.properties file in that distribution and include the resulting file in your classpath, that should work.

regards
