Hello all...

When I use LIKE in a sql statement, the Hibernate create a query like this:
select <fields> from <table> where UPPER(<string field>) LIKE "string comparison";

When the string field is an indexed field, I lost the advantages of index, since changed field is not an indexed field.

Anyone can help me??? I need that DB2 work in Insensitve Case, and Hibernate do not generate that UPPER function.

The code is generated by Hibernate when I add a filter like "name like 'Alex'", for example...
