 Post subject: Why not Stored Procedures????

In most of the persistence tools, I am seeing that they support individual querys to the Database.

The Database team claims that Stored procedures are more powerful than individual statements. If thats the case why all the tools tend to be away from procedures and more towards individual queries.

Each has its place and use! There is no "one is good the other bad" statement that makes sense.
