Does Hibernate have a standard place to put the propererties files and *.xml files?

Is there a reference to a standard naming convention?

Sorry if these a basic questions...I'm trying to learn Hibernate.

TIA

Tom K.

The classpath is the place to put all your files. Mapping files are expected to have the .hbm.xml suffix.

naming: for class Toto.class --> make a Toto.hbm.xml
i place these file in the same (source) directory that Toto.java, when i build the app it is copied, for example, to /classes/myApp/.../MyDomainModel/

for hibernate.hbm.xml, i let it in /src at build time it is copied to /classes
