Hi,

I'm packaging hibernate for debian. I'd like to know the main authors of hibernate and their mails. Is ok if i ask questions about packaging hibernate in the hibernate-devel list?

Any future help will be appreciated. Good work!

Greetings

Go to the dev list.
Gavin King (gavin at hibernate.org)
Christian Bauer (christian at hibernate.org)
These emails are NOT for user support. http://forum.hibernate.org is better suited.
Question: why packaging a Java application inside a debian package ? Java is plateform independant.

Tell that to these guys: http://www.jpackage.org

If I ever get some free time and the motivation, I'll package hibernate up as a JPackage RPM.

Simply, to do apt-get install hibernate and get all work :)
The main reason is that i want my application to be in debian and this application depens on hibernate. So i do apt-get install my-application and it will install all the dependencies including hibernate

Thanx very much
