In an earlier post, Gavin suggested that I use the hibernate property

Code:
hibernate.use_get_generated_keys

I assumed it was a boolean property in setting it. However, using it didn't seem to do anything for the problem I was having. So I did a search of both the hibernate.pdf 2.1.2 manual for the string above, and a site wide search as well (including this forum) and didnt get any hits.

So -- Has anyone actually used this parameter, and can tell me what the proper usage of it is?
Thx
