Friends,

I need that schema generation connect in database and generate the script only with the changes, but I dont want that the it changes the db automatically.

I have to use SchemaExport or SchemaUpdate? I guess that SchemaUpdate connect in db and make the changes itself, but the SchemaExport is not connecting in db before generate the script, although I had create the hibernate.properties, and the SchemaExport is reading it.

Read the documentation.

I did it. I'm asking help because I did what documentation said and it doesnt work.

Then read it again and pay attention to the SchemaExport "--text" configuration property.
