Hello,

This is the kinda thing a hate... We occasionnally (but 3 times within 48hours!) a getting JVM coredump after calling cfg.buildSessionFactory().

JVM : Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (1.4.2_01-b06 mixed mode)
On solaris 8 SunFire15000
Hibernate 2.1.2 using CGLIB reflection optimizer
Oracle 9.1.0.4

I'm suspecting CGLIB. Has anyone had this before ?

Thanks for your feedback.

Alain.

set hibernate.cglib.use_reflection_optimizer=false and try again. I'll not use CGLIB anymore unless you proxied a class

All JVM core dumps are caused by bugs in JVM, provide more info if you need some workaround, we can not fix this JVM.
