Keyword Problem "FROM" at Pointbase

Hi all,

As title, Pointbase scalar function "Extract(Year From...)", the "From" is
automatically interpreted as "Select ..... from" in the generated SQL,
any workaround? Thanks....

If it's really an SQL parsing error, there is nothing we can do. Check Pointbase forums.

Why do you think it's sql parsing error?
I could run the sql in pointbase or using JDBC PrepareStatement but not through Hibernate.
I think it's Hibernate translates "FROM" into "SELECT ... FROM" so that HQL like "FROM CAT..." can be used.

Post that to JIRA please, but I don't think it'll be solved until the next major release.
