i have a problem with my application with struts.
i use tomcat 4.1.12 and hobernate 2.1 i cant run my application:
error: can't innherit from final class

Can you be a little more specific please? Maybe you could start with the hibernate mapping, the corresponding java code and a stack trace of the error. Also, if you are using Log4J, can you turn on the logging for hibernate to INFO level and show what results you are getting in loading hibernate itself.

i have tested hibernate alone and it wored fine.
i have also tested struuts and it works.
when i copy the *.jar of hibernate and struts it dosnt works.
always the same error

Well, I don't know how to help you. I am using Hibernate with Struts and I just dropped the jar files in my application lib directory and it worked without a problem.

I've used hibernate with struts and tomcat 4.1.12 just fine. (Though it was a while ago as tomcat is now on 4.1.30)

What is the error you're getting?

i have intalled tomcat 1.4.30 and it works fine.
with 1.4.12 it didnt works.
