Hello, I inherited a project that uses Hibernate. I activated a function in the app that had not been used before and began getting the following error when the hibernate find function at runtime:

no persistent classes for for query class.

String query = "from mb in class com.company.project.beans.MyBean"+
" where mb.docId=? and mb.productId=?"

Here is the Java code:
MyBean mb = find ( query,
new Object [] { docId, product.getProdId() },
new Type [] {Hibernate.LONG, Hibernate.STRING} );

I not been able to find the error message in the documentation yet, so your help is appreciated.

Do you have mapping for com.company.project.beans.MyBean?

Not currently. I added a MyBean.hbm.xml document, but then got a "duplicate mapping" error at startup. Apparently, Hibernate is getting the mapping for that object from one of the parents.

Instead of using the HQL, i decided yesterday to implement a composite key and then invoke the delete, which is the end function that I am trying to get to. Now i am getting the following error when invoking the delete method with my composite key object as the parameter:

No persister for: com.company.project.beans.MyBean

I'll keep researching that now. Any help would be appreciated.

It often says that you have an error in your mapping, It's not really a duplicate mapping error.
