I'm having problems with an installation of Resin running a webapp that uses Hibernate & Spring.

The problem appears to be with DOM4J parsing the XML mapping files generated with Hibernate.

Is it possible to change the XML parser that Hibernate uses, and if so how would I go about doing this?

I'm not sure if this will fix the problem, but you have to start somewhere!!

I read about a similar problem on the Tapestry List. The solution was to replace the XML processing in Resin. Include the apache XML Jars and see what happens.
