Seems that the developers from Middlegen does not seem to reply some questions...

I can't get middlegen to work with db2 8.1 and to generate my mapping files for hibernate... The problem is on the driver that for some reason does not work...

Does anybody have a clue on this?

Where did you post the question. I check this forum each day.
In anycase, what is Middlegen telling you?

I do not have DB2 to test with - It is likely it will be a driver issue or JDBC driver setup.

It produces an error winch tells Operation not suported ...

CLI0621E: Unsuported configuration of JDBC server...

But it is weird that I can connect to the same db with hibernate and middlegen no.....

I'm sorry there is not enough information here to tell me whats up. Middlegen makes heavy use of the meta information (are you using 1.4.x JDK?) but so does Hibernate. I can only say its a driver issue and I would check the bugs list for the JDBC driver concerned.

I am sorry but the only information I have is this at the moment.

I've tried to set up log4j to debug but no success, I will have a look at the bug list of middlegen then.

I don't think its a bug in Middlegen. I would google for info on the JDBC driver you are using.

I'd like to be able to help but I have no idea what might be the problem. At thjis stage I would right a small JDBC program and exercise the driver features a little; similar to the way Middlegen does. Trial and error process maybe highlight the problem - even then you may not have a fix (maybe the latest driver or earlier driver required). I am interested if you find out what the problem ends up being.
