Hi all,

I am new to both xdoclet and hibernate and want to know if there is a way to generate hbm's <component> tag with nested <property> tags that mapped to a table columns? If this isn't support yet in the current implementation of xdoclet, does anyone know when is it gonna be supported? And is Gavin(hibernate creator) is the one whose implemented xdoclet extension for hibernate?

Check the tags for XDoclet Hibernate module
http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/tags/hibernate-tags.html

You will see a @hibernate.component tag.
The properties are added to the component class methods.

Gavin did do the large portion of the work on XDoclet.
