 Post subject: like operator in hql

I wrote a query like this :
"from Guard guard where guard.name like 'ZE%'"

It also return an instance with name 'zele'.
I'm confused about this, because I thought like is case sensitive.

I use Hibernate 2.1.1 and MS SQL Server 2000

SQL Server is case insensitive by default. This is a DB setting.
