When I try to do create a User in the adminapp example application:

java.sql.SQLException: General error, message from server: "Unknown character set: 'danish'"

I am puzzled how danish came about! It is nothing that I have set somewhere from what I can remember.

Does anyone have a clue?

Best regards

Lasse

Does your DB instance support danish characters (not danish word)

Don't know, have to check that.

The error I got was when running on Tomcat. However, on JBoss it worked ?!

It must be possible to configure driver.
Default encoding depends on the system property "file.encoding".
