hello everyone

despite i've read the hibernate reference i still don't get the full meaning or implications of using the inverse attribute in some collection declaration.

in particular, what this the main effect of declaring a one-to-many relation as inverse?? in addition to the change in the saving order.

in birirectional one-to-many relation has the same effect?

it makes sense to use it in a many-to-many relation?

i apologize if this is a too basic concept to be asking for
