I am certain this has been discussed before, but can not find a reference to how the problem is solved. I am using the PostgreSQL Dialect and have a server setup with postgresql 7.3.4. How do I get hibernate to send the "cascade" parameter to the drop statement when updating the database schema? (Preferrably without recompiling the source).

Extend PostgerSQLDialect and override getCascadeConstraintsString() should work i think

I did not see it in the docs, but upgrading to 2.1.1 solves the problem as well. I originally was runing 2.0.1.
