I know that an object can implement the lifecycle interface if it needs to do work before save/update/delete or after load.

I'm curious if there is something simialer that can be done after the save/update (after everything has been successfully commited to the datastore.)

Interceptor has postFlush() but it is my understanding that at that point the transaction has not necessarilly been committed.

Thanks,
Marc

Can't really do that since Tx can be managed outside by JTA. Hibernate session may be dead when Tx is actually commited.
