Hi,

the ChangeLog for Hibernate 2.1 final states:
* don't auto-create indexes for collection foreign keys (roll back to 2.0.x)

Why is that ? I could really need it.

(And is there a place where decisions like these are usually communicated ? I unsuccessfully searched dev mailing list archive and all forums before posting this.)

Thanks,
Kay

of course, you can still create indexes manually, by using an index attribute.
