How can I set the property use_reflection_optimizer with the JBoss service? I have tried various combination with the jboss-server.xml file and none seemed to work.

Looking at the JMX code, it appears as though this property is not support in JMX. Can it be in a future release?

Sorry, this is a "system-level" property, as per the doco. It may not be set dynamically. It is possible to set system properties via JMX in JBoss, but you'd better ask someone who knows more about JBoss than I do how to do it.
