What does this mean(Chapter 12.2.1. Mapping)?

I can't find <class-cache> or <collection-cache> in the Hibernate Mapping DTD.

Check the DTD from your 2.1rc1 distro.

Hibernate 2.0 DTD in the web site seems not to be up to date.
