I load an hibernate object in one servlet and register it in HttpSession. But it throws "net.sf.hibernate.TransientObjectException: Collection was not persistent in this session" when I check it out from HttpSession and access a collection through it from another servlet. Any hint ?

You need to re-associate the transient object to the new session. Use session.update or session.lock to associate it again.
