1. Does anyone have a good explanation of the 3 selections for access? I didn't get any information that made sense from the 2.1beta6 documentation, forums (unless I'm not searching correctly), or hibernate.org site

2. Are there any hbm2java.CodeGenerator updates which can parse this? I expected the CodeGenerator to create a different class file if I gave one property access="property" and another one access="field". No change. I've tried the hibernate-extensions-2.0.3.zip. Should I use another CodeGenerator binary?

Regards,
David

CodeGenerator doesn't know anything about the access attribute.
