Some of the properties in findDirty method are collections. How to compare prev/current state without causing collections to be loaded (in the case of lazy collections)?

There are several problems, if you want to compare collections using previous-/currentState.

Search the "Hibernate Beginners" Forum for "Interceptor" you will find most of them... (e.g. see http://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.php?t=692)
