Hi guys,

Whe I build current CVS version of hibernate it spits the result out to:
../hibernate-2.0.3/hibernate2.jar

This is really really inconvenient. I'm not sure even that this is 2.1 beta 6 ....
Is it possible, to add property file which would state what actual version is, and this file will be consulted by ant to determine directory where to place it?
am I asking too much?

( ideal solution would be maven build environment - at least there will be no questioning what exact versions you depend on )

There is no string "2.0.3" in the CVS build.xml, you are working with the wrong files.

Hm, actually I thought about this and... no. I need it for the reference docs version.
