 Post subject: Do autogenerated classes handle bidirectional relationships?

According to the documentation:

Changes made only to the inverse end of the association are not persisted.


Will classes created by the CodeGenerator propagate changes from the inverse relationship to the primary relationship? (So that they get saved in the database) Or will attempts to set an inverse relationship on an autogenerated class have no effect on the database?
