Hi Folks,

I wonder if hibernate works in EJB Containers.
As far as I know you are using dom4j for loading the mapping, aren't you?
We had signficant problems parsing XML with dom4j in Oracles OC4J.
So my question:

Is hibernate able to get configured via JMX?

Are there any reported problems with EJB Container Classloaders (You know Classloading could be very tricky in Appservers and therefore the spec forbidds the uses of reflection) ?

Thx

Toby

I use Hibernate in WebLogic. I know many others are using it in JBoss.

There is an MBean for Hibernate configuration and a JBoss-specific deployment. Take a look at the net.sf.hibernate.jmx package.

I would be happy If I could use JBoss or any other Appserver for deploying. I will give hibernate run in OC4J a try and report the results into forum.

Bye & thx
Toby

I've been using hibernate with oc4j (9.0.3 and 9.0.4) in our testing enviroment with no problems so far.

We haven't had expirience in our production enviroment yet.
