I am successfully creating the database table using hbm2ddl but the import.sql is being ignored.

The instructions tell me to put the file on the root of the classpath, but I have tried in various locations to no avail.

my project folder structure is standard

/src
/war
/war/WEB-INF
/war/WEB-INF/classes
/war/WEB-INF/jsp

Can anyone help please?

Hi,

do you want to run the import.sql at build time (for unit tests) or at runtime (when the war gets deployed). In the former import.sql has to be in your build classpath (eg src/test/resources in maven). In the latter case /war/WEB-INF/classes should work.
