Hi.
I have a problem with updating datas.

Code:

public class Observation{
 @IndexEmbeddable
 private Patient patient;
}

@Embbeded
public class Patient{

}

When I index Observation, Patient is also indexed, that is alright.
But when I update the Patient, there is no update in this patient's index.
What I want ask is that, doesn't Hibernate Search update index according to @DocumentId field?

Hi,

if you want to have changes to Patient entities update the index as well, then you have to make the association bidirectional and use @ContainedIn. See online doc: http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/search/reference/en/html_single/#d0e1322.
