using spring aop and tx advice, i have some question on best way to configure transaction

I wanna make sure

1.) Manual Batching.
What propagation level is best?
What isolation level is best?
Should i open a session or continue with the existing one?
Should i start a new transaction or use existing one and commit it.

2.) Searching (on live site).

Hi,

could you be a little be more specific. Are you asking about Hibernate Search? Regarding the propagation level I would probably just choose REQUIRED. The isolation level is a more complicated issue and depends on your use case. If you don't have any particular requirements try with DEFAULT.
