HELP: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: hints

Ok, so I am about to go crazy, if someone could give me a hint I would be SO happy :-)

I have a hibernate based app that runs fine on two App servers (JBoss and BEA), but not on another (same BEA version)...

The error I keep getting is:

I am not using the "hints" annotation anywhere, but I don't think hat can be it, right?

Any help would be appreciated....

some old version in your classpath, or an old ejb 3 apis from Weblogic.

Well, that's kind of unlikely, because:

I am using the exact same installation/container on both systems
Even if not, shouldn't the libs in my war take precedence over the app server ones?

Nah, only if you use a PARENT_LAST class loading strategy which is not the default in most app servers.
