Hi,
Here is some basic question.
I have a Seam project and use Hibernate for persistence. I use XML for mapping and wish to use validation as well. As far as I understand, validation only works at Seam/Faces level but not at Hibernate level, for instance a direct new() -> saveOrUpdate may save an object with an invalid field.
Is there a way/configuration to make hibernate validation work with XML based mapping?
