Hi,
Just want to confirm something simple here.
Is it possible to have a container managed EntityManager or EntityManagerFactory outside a Session bean?
Regards

Some update on this from the JPA spec, section 5.6 2.

"A container-managed extended persistence context can only be initiated within the scope of a stateful session bean."

So the question then becomes can an Container EntityManager with transaction scope persistence context be injected into a Session bean?

I don't think so but I am just looking for confirmation.
