 Post subject: setFetchMode SELECT bug

A student has many courses(LAZY). When searching for a list of students,

criteria.setFetchMode("courses", FetchMode.SELECT);

Among the returned list of students, only the first student has the courses initialized. The rest of students have courses un-initialized.

Is this a bug?
Is there a workaround? Thanks
