Hi,
Has anyone managed to use JTA without using a full blown EJB App Server?

I was havinga look at JOTM and JBoss's arjuna which both allow you to use JTA without an AppServer. However, I have only used them with JDBC connections that I am instantiating in my code. I am not sure how they would be used in conjunction with the EntityManager?

Any ideas / tips / comments?
Thanks
