 Post subject: NamedQueries in non-Entity classes

I have some named queries that I want available in test situations but not in production code. As a result, I put these queries in a non-entity class, and add that class to the configuration using .addAnnotatedClass(). It cannot find the named query. Any idea how to get this to work?
