Need help,

hi can i parse an sql query which is in the form of text(it will be very simple query no joins,etc) and get the coloum names.... as i want to show them in list box.

Note :
i know the data base type (example oracle,mysqul,etc)
and have driver in hand and also the query but i should not connect to the data base this is the limitaion.
