I'm interested in trying out SVN HEAD of both Hibernate 3.2 and the Annotations/EntityManager but I cannot find the most recent source code.

I'm getting sources at

http://anonhibernate.labs.jboss.com/trunk/Hibernate3

and

http://anonhibernate.labs.jboss.com/trunk/HibernateExt

but the readme and changelog of Hibernate3 says it is 3.2CR3. That is actually also the version that is build in the dist dir.

What is going on here. How do I get the real latest sources?

S.

The readme files are only updated at release time.

we had a CR4 release, so I'm guessing he is looking in head and not in the 3.2 branch: https://hibernate.labs.jboss.com/repos/ ... Hibernate3

The code that I got from:

http://anonhibernate.labs.jboss.com/trunk/Hibernate3

produces:

hibernate-3.2.0.cr3.tar.gz
hibernate-3.2.0.cr3.zip

In build/dist.

However, on sf.net there are 3.2.0.cr4 archives available.

Are you saying that those cr4 archives come from the same source base but have been renamed manually?

I'm confused now.

The above link is password protected.

Is there a difference between Branch_3_2 and Trunk?

What do I need to test HibernateExt?

here is the anonymous version:
http://anonhibernate.labs.jboss.com/bra ... Hibernate3

and yes there are a different between 3.2 and trunk....3.2 is the release branch, trunk is new development (e.g. 3.3)

you should be able to use both with hibernateext, but I would recommend to use the 3.2
