I browse through the EntityManager pdf documentation just now.

If we use EntityManager, can we still use CriteriaQuery? cos I don't see it in the EntityManager documentation.

Please advise.

Nope.
Not yet part of the spec.

But you can use Hibernate's Session - which is / can be also injected into your ejbs.
