Hibernate version: 3.1.2 (annotations 3.1beta8)


Am I correct in saying that composite-elements, as described here in the Hibernate mapping examples, are not currently supported by Annotations? If so, are there plans for them to be?

it should work.
Composite elements are supported
@ManyToOne inside composite elements isn't officially supported but the engine should work just fine already (need to write some unit tests)
