Production version

Hi folks,

somebody already asked, but got no answer, so I pursue.

When Hibernate EntityManager and Hibernate Annotations will be ready for production use ?

Not before the spec is final.

I am working on a standalone J2SE application that should ship in january.
What are the odds of using Annotation/EntityManager "as is" in the application shipment ?

This is because I am a newbee to Hibernate, and I found the JSR220-ORM Eclipse plugin from Versant a god blessing, so I am really inclined to use it.

Any rough idea about when Beta 7 will be released? Will it work with 3.1 RC1 or RC3?

Will be 3.1 RC3 / 3.1final compatible

I see that all 27 issues for beta 7 have been fixed as of Nov 30th. Is there normally a window of time between this event and the version posting?

Thanks for the hard work. This is shaping up to be a nice package. The first real use of Annotations that has excited me about the technology.
