 Post subject: Calling stored procedures with EJB 3

I know that Hibernate 3 specific code may be used to call some kinds of stored procedures, but I would like to know if it is currently possible to call stored procedures via portable EJB 3 API?

As far as I understand the createNativeQuery method is intended for this purpose, but I cannot persuade it to work with SP.

If it is still not ready, when is it going to be ready?
