Does Hibernate require a special annotation for byte[]?

It appears that Hibernate treats byte[] as byte both in SchemaExport from an annotated class, and in saving an object that is an instance of an annotated class ( when the method signature is: public byte[] getMyArray() ).

This happens when using HSQLDialect and when using DerbyDialect.

I fixed that in CVS, a week ago, this should be fine now. Let me know if CVS head cause problems
