The hibernate xml mapping supports the optimistic-lock attribute on the property level. Will this be implemented as an hibernate extension annotation?

The @Version annotation exists to mark the version field. I am talking something else here.

I mean an annotation equivalent to the 'optimistic-lock' attribute on the 'property' element. The 'optimistic-lock' defines whether the entity version will be incremented after a change in the specified property.
