I was curious as to when I might expect to be able to access the <node> and <embed-xml> attributes via Hibernate annotations. I don't see it either in the current documentation or in the latest CVS source.

I'm using EJB3.0-style annotations for my current entities and I'd like to be able to transparently persist them either to the database or to an XML file, and it'd be extremely useful if I could do it uniformly via annotations as opposed to having to revert to a Hibernate mapping file.

Thanks!

- Mark

I do have a priority list in mind and it is not part of it. *But* a contribution is welcome and will be reviewed.
