Is there a way to dump the mapping files to disk if I am using Hibernate Annotations? The reason I ask is that I'm getting confusing error messages at runtime and investigating the underlying mapping file by hand would help me understand what is going wrong.

For some odd reason I am still getting the "org.hibernate.MappingException: duplicate property mapping: type" error message. If I had the mapping file, I could investigate where it is being defined twice.
