I want to write query for comparing two date objects.
In my hbm.xml file I kept the type of date as java.sql.Date
I am using SQL Server 2000.
I am writing following query.

object.find("from Attendancedetail ad where ad.currentdate=" + date)

It is giving me this error:
(Hibernate operation): encountered SQLException [Line 1: Incorrect syntax near 'Apr'.]; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Line 1: Incorrect syntax near 'Apr'.
